How To Claim Your Pension With EOBI: The Old-Age Benefits Institution (EOBI) for Workers is the government body functioning under the Ministry of Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development. EOBI was formed in 1976 to provide registered employees with a pension, old-age benefits, and social insurance. In the time of insurable work, the registered employee and the registered person's employer must contribute some percentage of the salary to EOBI. Employers must pay 5 per cent of the government's minimum wages. The covered employee, on the other hand, must pay 1 per cent of the minimum wages.
